Thanksgiving Month at Lucky's Natural Foods
Vegan/Gluten Free Cooking, Amish Turkeys & Anniversary Celebration
Lucky’s Natural Foods in downtown Lake Orion has three special events planned for November.
“Cooking with Cori,” will take place in their kitchen on November 8 at 5:30 p.m. Store owner and certified natural health professional Tanya Sallade says, “Cori will show us how to make a delicious stuffed squash perfect for fall and a decadent brownie with a date caramel sauce for dessert. Both are vegan and gluten free.”
Amish turkey pickup will run November 21-24. “Fresh, non-injected, all-natural antibiotic, hormone- and preservative-free Amish turkeys are available for Thanksgiving," says Sallade. "Turkeys are also available frozen the rest of the year and in a variety of sizes to suit your family's needs."
Lucky's Natural Foods turns 48 years old this month and to celebrate will provide free samples, a drawing for a gift basket and sales throughout the store. Their birthday celebration continues all month.
Lucky's carries a full line of natural and organic groceries that are free of antibiotics, hormones, GMOs, artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners and preservatives. Very popular to their store are local and Amish meats, eggs and turkey, fresh for the holidays. They also have a large selection of gluten-free and allergen-friendly products, and vitamin supplements–plus a supplement loyalty program to help customers save money.
