Metroparks Launch Discounted Annual Passes and New Website

Natural Awakenings News: Metroparks Launch Discounted Annual Passes and New Website

Get the 2022 Huron-Clinton Metroparks annual park pass now because the parks system is providing a $5 discount to residents of the five counties they serve for vehicle passes purchased in December. Resident pricing applies to residents of Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties. The pass can be used to access the 13 Metroparks all of 2022 and even the month of December 2021.

Starting January 1, 2022, the Metroparks annual pass will again cost $40 for residents ($29 for seniors 62+) of the five counties served. However, through the end of 2021, residents can purchase their 2022 vehicle pass for $35 ($24 for seniors).

“Purchasing an annual pass is the best way to experience everything our diverse Metroparks have to offer,” Amy McMillan, director of the Huron-Clinton Metroparks, says. “Nothing else matches it in terms of what you get and how affordable it can be to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, which the COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced just how important that can be.”

McMillan also mentions the new Metroparks website, designed to offer a better customer experience. Users will notice a fresh, modern look to the website with a better mobile design and improved accessibility features.

Passes can be purchased at Metroparks.com using the “Buy Annual Pass” button or at any Metroparks tollbooth or park office. For more information, visit Metroparks.com.
